Storytelling Festival

Come celebrate the art of storytelling with some of the nation’s best storytellers: Charlotte Blake-Alston, Jim Mays and Megan Wells. For 30 years, the Arts Council of Oklahoma City has produced the Oklahoma City Storytelling Festival where creatives can come together for workshops, performances, and a community of people who love to tell tales. Flight For Futures

Wheels Up! The 1st Annual Flight for Futures fundraising event benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of Oklahoma County will be held on Thursday, September 3rd from 7:30-11 p.m. at Valair’s Hangar 9 at Wiley Post Airport.

Flight for Futures guests will enjoy a variety of delicious food from premier local restaurants and caterers, including B&B Catering, Fassler Hall, Fuzzy’s Taco Shop, Interurban Restaurant, La Brasa Peruvian Kitchen, Museum Café, Packard’s New American Kitchen, Pitchfork Kitchen & Bakery Food Truck, Seven47, Sophabella’s Chicago Grill, Texadelphia, The Saucee Sicilian and many others!

Guests will enjoy adult beverages provided by Capital Distributing, and one of Oklahoma City’s hottest bands, Hook, will provide entertainment that is sure to get everyone on their feet!

The highlight of the evening will be the announcement of the winner of a trip for two with a four-night stay, including airfare and all inclusive resort accommodations to beautiful Turks and Caicos, courtesy of XR Tickets. What’s the best part about this? Each admission ticket into the event will enter guests into the drawing, where one lucky guest will walk away with a fabulous trip in hand!
